Real Estate development is nothing new to the Welty. Don Taylor has been developing real estate projects for Welty Construction since 2005. Over the next 15 years, his development portfolio continued to expand and reached the stage of additional support. With the economic, construction, furniture, and facilities groups available through the Welty family of companies, he would create Welty Development. A company that would harnessed the power of Welty to facilitate better real estate deals.
In 2020, Don brought on Tom Charek, a successful construction veteran of the Cleveland/Akron markets. Charek’s well-respected reputation and proven track record for putting together successful projects was a natural fit to take Welty Development to the next level as WDC’s president.
